CAMPUS TO CORPORATE

Young adults who pursue education in various branches of management and technology are exposed to the best of management concepts in educational institutions. However, the educational space where they receive these cognitive inputs is very different from the organisational environment in which they need to apply this knowledge. The competitive environment prevalent in educational institutions encourages students to become individualists rather than team players.

On the contrary, the fundamentals of organizations, where these students will step into after graduation, are team work, inter-dependency and alignment of individuals with team / organizational goals. This calls for paradigm shift in the psyche and behaviors of the fresh employees, for which they are usually not prepared. The resultant slow transition could not only affect their performance, but also have an adverse psychological impact on them. The blending of freshers with the organization culture is not instant or automatic, but requires a lead time.

Pegasus “Campus to Corporate” Program seeks to address such challenges in order to shorten the transition time for the freshers to adapt to the corporate world.
